| Words can not begin to express the experience that Camper World in Meridan Idaho gave to 15 boys that traveled 7.5 hours one way to Boise State to watch Kellen Moore play his last home football game. Our neighbor stopped by to pickup a few things on his way to hunting camp and won this incredible gift. I waited up tell 0300 am to see the boys and hear there stories. They threw footballs into the crowds, baraqued, toured the field and then to end this perfect night they got the kids into Kellens press conference where they were able to make personal contact with him. I think my 13 year old summed it up best, I will never forget this night. Thanks Camping World for the opportunity and the staffs hospitality it was a day packed full of surprises! |

My wife and I traveled down from Alaska to pick up a 2001 truck camper we had purchased from Camping World in Meridian, Idaho. Let me tell you about our purchase experience. Our sales person was Jamie Brouhard. She responded quickly to all of our questions and returned all phone calls promptly. Her presentation was thoroughly professional. Kelly Hall handled the financial end of the deal. She was also quick to respond with our inquiries. She confessed that she did not yet have much familiarity with the service department, but nevertheless was able to contact them and help us with some clarifications with that department. We were traveling down from Alaska and were coming on a pretty tight time frame. We were specific about the parts we would need for the installation and through no fault of your company, there was a delay in the arrival of the parts. Tamara Ryals made consistent efforts to contact us by cell phone as we traveled South. Cell coverage was spotty, but she persisted in her efforts so that we would be apprised of the situation. As it turned out the parts arrived just in time. Tamara was our go-to gal while we were on site. She was quite busy while we were there, but nevertheless was able to solve one problem after another. Victor Escazito was the salesperson who ran us through the checkout procedure. He was not only quite competent and knowledgeable, we found him to be very personable as well. This was our first camper purchase, but he carefully took us through the unit and our subsequent experiences have validated his efforts. This 2001 Fleetwood 8S camper went into the shop for a checkout of the systems and and detailing. We were assigned Chad Marks as our service technician. He did the wiring adaptation and checked and replaced components as necessary. We asked for and received butt connectors, instead of Scotch Locks for our wiring connections. I went under our truck and inspected Chad's work. He took care to provide chafing protection for the wiring harness. This kind of attention to detail might never be noticed by a customer, but to me, it reflected his determination to do the job right. We were pleasantly surprised by prices in the parts department. In Alaska, we can get accustomed to some astounding numbers! So we bought quite a few items. Kelly Grey was patient and knowledgeable in assisting us. We have driven back from Idaho to our home in Southeast Alaska. There were a few minor fixes to attend to, but all in all, everything worked and we had a great trip. I plan on using the camper for travel in my business, and we look forward to using it for many years to come. We saw some big high dollar units on the lot. What we got was a consignment purchase and not a very big one at that. You could not have known it from how we were treated. It was a very satisfying experience for my wife and myself. Of course, your entire staff there is woefully underpaid (!), but I am sure you will soon be addressing that problem(!). |
